I bought a humidifier on Feb 14th took it home set it up plugged in and it did not work so packed it up and took it back Feb 15 (next day )23 hours after original purchase. I was told it was a used product and could only get a store credit. I let them know it was a defective product as it was not used at all. Spoke with the store manager and told her I thought I should get a full refund as it was defective .She insisted no refund just a store credit and told me if I bought a different brand at more money she would give me a discount. I went and got another that suited my needs but was $33.00 more proceeded to customer service The cashier charged me full price less the price of the original. I mentioned her manager said she would give me a further discount. Cashier called the manager and Manager refused to compensate the price as it was on sale no discount . I am very disappointed with this store and manager as I totally believe there should be return policy for defective product if they are defective they should not be classed as used. The store would likely returned defective product to the manufacturer so no loss to the store .
