Please someone contact the news about this place!! We need help.
Update: almost a year later I received a bill for a balance we do not owe. Tried contacting them again was told I would receive a call on Monday, again that did not happen. Go figure. I also emailed the District manager Nixzaliz Baez and still have not received a response.
This whole experience has been a nightmare from scheduling, balance billing, and the actual sales driven visit (don’t expect to see a dentist in person, it will be virtual).
In addition to filing a complaint with the state dental board, I'm writing this review because I don't know what else to do. My husband was seen in June but they billed the claim to insurance listing me as the patient. They also charged us more than what the EOB shows as the patient's responsibility. I called the insurance and they voided the claim and stated that Coast Dental would need to rebill the claim listing my husband as the patient. I have been trying since July 10th to get Coast Dental to rebill the claim.
It is very hard to get anyone on the phone at Coast Dental as they do not answer and their voicemail is full. Although, I’ve requested to speak to a manager several times regarding balance billing and the wrong patient being listed the only person I can ever speak to is Emily. Emily states the claim was billed correctly and what we paid out of pocket is correct but they will review the claim and call me back. I never receive any calls back and any time I do get ahold of her it’s the same thing we will review it and call you back…..I am sure we will eventually receive a bill for this whole visit since what insurance has paid has been reversed. I have also tried chatting, leaving a message with their quality assurance team, and filling out their contact form online.
