This contractor Craig Danto lied to me through the entire process of building my restaurant. Everything from the cost to the time it would take to complete the project. I told him this was a chance I was taking and I’m not a wealthy guy and that I was trusting him. He promised me he could do it, speaking with such confidence. I guess that’s why they call them con men. It ended costing me nearly double what he said and the time he told me he could finish was 90 days. It ended up taking nearly 2 years. Do not trust this man he will smile in your face and steal every penny he can take from you. I don’t know how he has any good reviews. While he was building my restaurant other people using his service were contacting me telling me they were going through the same experience I was going through. We were even trying to figure out a way to sue him. He’s a smooth talking con man. Trust me use anyone but Danto builders. Also I forgot to mention the foreman in charge of the project. We went through several. One just disappeared and another was high on pills everyday. Danto fired that one. We would go weeks without anyone showing up at the job site. When they did show up which was around 3 days a month, the workers would stay for just a few hours. How could you possibly finish a project on time with that kind of work production?!!
