On July 30th 2024 I called for an after hours call to fix my A/C which I believed to the capaciter that had failed, I got a call from the guy on duty, I think his name was Mike, but can't recall for certain, he quoted me $87.00 for after hours charge and $50.00 travel charge, which is high but I could live with that, however when he told me the Capaciter would be $350.00 I told him he was out of his mind as they should only be about $70.00, I had another company come out and the total charges for after hours and the Capaciter was $240.00 which is still pricey but half of what Black Diamond were going to charge and FYI I just bought a spare Capaciter off Amazon for $21.00 and that was one of the more expensive ones. I would advise you to shop around for a company that is not going to rip you off.
