Here's my detailed review, specifically for the owner (Mr. Oussema Rebhi) and any future clients considering doing business with this company.
This company has one of the worst customer service experiences in the industry.
On February 14, 2025, I requested a tow for my secondary car to Canadian Tire (only 3 km away) due to a flat front tire. I asked for an estimated wait time, and Mr. Oussema mentioned it would take about 30 minutes.
The actual wait time for the tow was 1 hour and 30 minutes—not great, but acceptable.
The towing process took about 10 minutes, and the drive to the garage took exactly 8 minutes (including parking). The contractor used by this company was great—he provided clear instructions on what to do (since the car was parked in a small parking lot), etc. However, I was charged a flat rate of $166.67, which is the standard price for a 10 km tow, even though my tow was only 3 km.
I attempted to negotiate a reduced price, considering the long wait time and short distance, but while the owner was respectful, he refused to adjust the cost—which, to be fair, is understandable.
I paid the full amount to Onroute Towing and REC and then requested a receipt, as this is a secondary car used by a third party. I provided my email via text and told the contractor everything was fine and that he could leave.
About 15-20 minutes later, the owner sent me the receipt via text. Then, he called me and asked, "What do you want?" Confused, I replied, "What do you mean? I asked for a receipt, and I got it."
At this point, he started raising his voice, interrupting me, and ranting about checking my emails, etc. I responded, "Are you not hearing me? I said I got it—why are you yelling?"
As you might expect, the conversation wasn’t going anywhere. Mr. Oussema Rebhi was clearly irritated, slurs were said so I hung up.
Five minutes later, he called me again, ranting about me and my family and making threats about what he would do to them wich i could simply not believe because he had such a funny voice . I simply laughed—he sounded extremely angry at this point, but honestly, he also has a funny voice. I hung up.
Now, this angry guy is texting me from multiple phone numbers.
My suggestion : I would skip this service, not worth the headache.
