I had a horrible experience with Good Commerce. I paid them over a grand to design and send out one email (they didn't even write the copy, but they wrote the scripts) for my very first email campaign. Must to my disappointment, it went out as "Hey there, First Name" and "Hey there, there".
When I told them about the error, they threw it back on me and said I should not use personalized name scripts in the emails. Where was this advice BEFORE sending out the emails? Then it came out that the person in charge of this wasn't very skilled at doing this and they were inexperienced at it.
So I called them on this, they 'fessed up, which is all fine and good. They offered me one hour of free web services at $250/hour.
Great, right? WRONG.
The web edits I asked for were things like adjusting tiny things on my Shopify website, like adding an item to my FAQ page. Not complicated. I can do this myself, but I don't have time, that's why I hired them.
I wanted this done quickly.
After TWO WEEKS, they still hadn't implemented the changes.
I asked them to send me my bill, which of course there was none, because I was on the complimentary web credit still.
So, in the end, they were overpriced, incompetent and didn't own up to their own mistakes.
10/10 avoid this company like the plague.
