We had a very unfortunate experience with Homewood Pet Resort. I would warn clients to not pay in advance for larger day care packages -- if there is an issue with your pup, and Homewood will no longer care for them, they will not reimburse you for the services paid in advance. There was an incident in which my dog was at fault, and while I fully agree with the right of a pet sitter to reject care if a dog is aggressive in any way, I disagree with the way the owner handled the situation. I paid for 20 days of day care in advance and was not reimbursed for the 13 remaining days of my package. I think my pup enjoyed her time there, but I found my experience to be very disappointing, and we will opt for more personalized care in the future.
