I made an appointment on March 15 for 1 PM with Shanna, the owner of the salon. I have known Shanna for years and have always supported her business and even referred other clients to her. I was absolutely shocked when I showed up for my appointment and a new girl who was very unpleasant and abrupt would not tell Shanna that I had arrived for my appointment and made me sit in the chair, waiting and not knowing when and if I was going to see Shanna for my appointment. I asked repeatedly for her to let Shanna know that I had arrived, and she refused and pointed to a chair in the salon and said "SIT", like I was a dog. She told me that Shanna would get to me "eventually", which was unacceptable to me. I simply wanted her to let Shanna know that I had arrived. I am a busy person just like Shanna and I have a life and other responsibilities. I was not going to sit and wait for her to get to me "eventually". When you make an appointment at a certain time there is an expectation that, within reason, you will be seen close to that appointment time. Shanna is not a busy physician where that doesn't happen, and furthermore, I was very hurt and upset that she did not even call me to find out why I left or what happened. I will never go back. There are several other good places in Medicine Hat who will take my money and see me on a timely basis. Very poor business management.
