Disappointing Experience with Maid In Victoria - Unfulfilled Satisfaction Guarantee
I recently hired Maid In Victoria for a deep cleaning service, hoping to revive my home before winter break. Unfortunately, the initial service fell short of expectations, with several areas left untouched despite paying the extra money for a deep clean and wet baseboard clean.
The owner, Amanda Devos, initially responded apologetically and arranged a follow-up clean. However, even after this additional effort, the issues persisted, and I found myself unsatisfied once again. Specific areas, including light switches, door frames, baseboards, and the floor, were neglected.
Despite their effort of a re-clean, I am disheartened that the issues I highlighted with photos and details were not adequately addressed. Even though a third cleaning was offered, I expressed my lack of interest in having a different person attempt to rectify the situation once more, as these were problems that should have been addressed in the second re-clean.
The company's failure to meet their own satisfaction guarantee policy raises concerns about their commitment to customer service. According to Maid In Victoria's stated policy, customers are entitled to a refund if the service does not meet expectations after a re-clean. Despite this guarantee, Amanda Devos has refused a refund, citing the cost incurred by the company.
This lack of adherence to their own satisfaction guarantee policy is disappointing and raises concerns about the company's commitment to customer service. I have expressed my dissatisfaction clearly and provided ample opportunity for correction, but a refund has been denied.
Regrettably, I cannot recommend Maid In Victoria based on my experience, and I urge potential customers to reconsider before engaging their services.
