If you’re considering using them, don’t. And if you’re already committed, pay by credit card so you can dispute the charges when things inevitably go wrong.
Our experience was a nightmare:
Delivery Delay: Not hours, but days late.
Damaged Items: Thousands of dollars' worth of damage, including a 2,000 lb tool chest placed on top of our belongings for over a week, rendering some items inoperable. They call the damages "minor" to dodge accountability.
Broken Antiques: This was in front of us.
Destroyed Furniture: Our bed was broken, furniture scratched, and the damage list is extensive.
Their contract claims they are exclusively responsible for damages, but they offered us a laughable $75 as compensation and stated a $2,500 deductible for a claim—despite us never signing or receiving any insurance documents. When we asked for these, they refused to provide them.
Do not trust Avinash or New Beginnings Moving. The only redeeming factor was the delivery team’s politeness, but they too did not place the items in the appropriate room not do any set up although that was a part of our signed contract.
