Went in for a $15.00 trial class and spoke to her beforehand on the phone. Not once did she mention that I would need grip socks. Then she tells me I can buy them from her for $25 and cannot reschedule the class as she says this was on website but not ever mentioned in our conversation to a new customer. Rude so I left and will find a reputable studio

Unfortunately, I am leaving the studio. I use a Walker and have balance and mobility issues. I really felt a connection with her until this happened…
I’ll start by saying I’m never late for and have never been a “no show” for appointments in general, as I respect and value other people’s time. In addition, I have been very flexible, when possible, to move my appointments to accommodate the instructor. My sessions were private. Thursday morning at 8:30 am, I sent a text indicating that I would have to cancel the 1:15 appointment due to snow, high winds and ice due to my safety concerns about falling. I also, want to state that I am unable to park close. I never heard back so at 11 am, I also left a voicemail indicating the cancellation. I finally received a text at 1:40 stating that I would be charged for the missed class. I explained that my situation is unique and certainly ONE grace cancellation can be granted. She stated that I signed the agreement and their 24 hr cancellation policy would remain in effect. I then explained that I leave town for the winter due to the physical issues that I entail. I am not looking for sympathy but find it disgusting that anyone with an accessibility issue won’t be accommodated. I stated that regrettably I will be moving on to find a studio that shows empathy and understanding. Lastly, I requested that the owner call me to discuss this matter and 4 days have gone by with no response. I guess my business isn’t valued.
