We have a bedroom window that started leaking so did a full local search and found this company with 4.1 stars with 50+ reviews. Small local business, our favorite type to purchase from because you know you’re getting solid reputable service. We made an appointment for an estimate, a 3-5pm time slot. I took leave, left work, and at 2:46 got a call asking if Carla could come by closer to the 5pm slot. Not a problem, except it was 6pm when she showed up. She was thorough, gave plenty of options, didn’t try to upsell. I figured it’s a Friday, things happen and it was still a good meeting. We make an appointment for the guys to come measure, 8-10am slot on a weekday. My husband takes leave from work. At 1002 Carla calls to say they had an issue with a truck can they come end of day? I tell her it doesn’t really work and she says no problem, she’ll have them head out now. Guys show up, was a quick easy visit. They tell my husband the truth - they had our stop mixed up with an appt up in Monument. Annoying, but he got to work only an hour later than planned - stuff happens. We’ve paid our 50% deposit to order prior to this visit, 2-3 week estimate for install. We‘re still looking forward to working with this crew- no problem.
3 weeks and 2 days later I call for an update to install as I’ve heard nothing. I talk to a very nice girl Ashley who asks me if I’ve reviewed my estimate. I explain I’ve paid, my window’s been measured, and I’m trying to figure out when it’s being installed. She tells me to hold for Carla because she doesn’t know. Carla gets on phone and tells me she just sent her guys out that morning to remeasure because there was some issue with the ipad when she went to input order. Keep in mind this is 3 weeks after it was supposed to be ordered that she’s noticed she didn’t place the order. New install estimate is 4 weeks from today. 7 weeks after I paid and window was measured. I point out I’m upset about my window leaking when we’re approaching rainy month, and what structural damage it might cause now that the project is running a month late. Carla says she can have a guy come out to make a temporary fix she’ll call me “right back”. That was Wed at 1100am. It’s now Friday night of holiday weekend. I’m still waiting to hear from her.
The other “funny” part is that when Carla sent the guys out to re-measure she didn’t actually call to tell me about that either. So my daughter who happened to be alone at the time called me from her hiding place in the closet because there was a guy who set up a ladder and climbed on the roof unannounced.
So anyway, if you would like to repeat this experience definitely go with this company. If this doesn’t sound fun to you, I recommend literally anyone else.
As my install didn’t happen this week as estimated I can’t comment on the quality yet. I’ll be sure to update once done. The crews seem great, all my problems so far seem to stem from the owner/office staff and poor organization and communication. But obviously customer service is a large part of selling your business
