The owners may seem nice to the patients because they have to, to get business but to their staff, they are shady people. The amount of staff they go through is not normal.
There have staff walking in and out of there all the time. Whether because they quit or were fired.
I'm not sure if it's appropriate to out them like this but what they do to the staff is not right and they don't see a problem with it.
Problem 1:
They started doing renovations in the basement and one of the staffs husband offered to do them, after much convincing. He did a lot of the demo work and when it came time to the first installment of payment of $10k, they refused to pay.
Problem 2: For another member, they only worked a couple days per week. At the beginning of the week the owners would message her saying she didn't need to come in that week and they were fine for staffing.
This went on for about a month. They did this hoping she would quit because they did not like that she was taking time off for personal reasons.
Problem3. They fire people if they do not like them and sadly this is within the probation period.
Examples being:
- They fired someone because they talked to much,
- Another person because their schedule had to change,
- Another person for being too ambitious.
Problem 4. They don't give people training and expect the new staff to be fully trained in what they want them to do then fire them for not doing the job properly.
Problem 5. This place is very toxic
Examples being:
- Staff have to walk on egg shells around the owners.
- There is a lack of boundaries with continual phone calls and text messages during personal time outside of working hours between the bosses and members.
- They bring up traumatic past situations in present situations
- The owners set precedent to new staff by giving higher responsibility and more job roles just to fire them when exisiting staff start to complain.
These actions made by the owners are not right. By posting this I just want to make people aware for who they really are to the staff.
