Ron "The Tile Guy"

Not a great experience. We contacted Ron to do our kitchen backsplash. On the phone and via text he seemed super nice and easy to work with. I should have been suspicious when he said he didn't need to see our kitchen first, nor did he want pictures, and didn't even need measurements.
After we spent hundreds of dollars on unrefundable tile on his advice, and cancelled a family trip to suit his schedule, he was a no show on the day and time that he agreed on. Further, he stopped responding to texts and phone calls.
I'm not sure what Ron's game is. Perhaps he has a problem that periodically pops up on him. He cost me some money and inconvenience but at the end of the day I hope he overcomes whatever demons he has.
I thought I'd share my experience in case I can save someone else some trouble.
