I purchased a furnace in March 2024 and when I tried to turn the heat back on it didn't work. I called Saucier to have it serviced and Mac called me back to ask if I would like to have it serviced today or wait until tomorrow because the rates are higher today being it is Thanksgiving. I told him I didn't expect to pay since my furnace was barely 6 months old and I only ran it for about 3 of those months. He said.....The parts are guaranteed but the labour and house call is not. Hmmm I have in my life purchased and been loyal to Saucier with 4 furnaces 4 air conditioners and 2 water heaters and this is the first time I was told that their work was not guaranteed. I did however(after I purchased my new furnace) here from a friend whom they sucked thousands of dollars out of in labour in the end only to admit that the part was actually installed incorrectly. I plan to replace my air conditioner this year or next and will never consider this business. Something changed!!!! and that is unfortunate as they had a well established reputation in this small town. I can wait until tomorrow for heat although I am having company and it would have been nice to rely on my new furnace to provide that. I am not happy that they don't guarantee their work. Word of mouth is the best advertisement and my advise is to look elsewhere to a place that stands behind their work.

So today I am now told that my less than a year old furnace is covered in labour and house calls. But when the technician finally came he told me that the defective parts he ordered were covered but I would be paying for the labour and house call. I told him that earlier in speaking to their customer service rep on the phone she said there would not be a charge. He said there is a charge and the charge is higher on weekends and holidays which is what I was told yesterday. I called back to the office and the service rep confirmed that there was no charge but that the technicians did not know that. You would have thought the techicians would know that their work is guarateed for a year. That is just pride in work ownership. He just shook his head. So my parts are on order and no telling how cold my home will get meantime. I suspect that since I called them out on such poor service I will be on the long list. Worst 6000.00 I ever spent in my life not to mention the stress involved in such poor work communication.
