I spent 45 minutes on the phone with the pharmacy tech named Denise and she was the rudest most uneducated person I've ever talked to. I went in person on 18 January to get a prescription for my dog to have it sent to us through Chewey. I spoke with chewy the day before to confirm the order for the prescription and they informed us they were waiting on approval from the vet office. The nice chewy representative called the vet clinic while I was on the phone with them and they did not answer the phone. So I called the next day to confirm that the approval will be sent for my dog medication that was purchased a week prior. Denise continued to not let me get a word in and interrupt me throughout the entire call. she kept trying to give me the runaround and kept telling me that I have to that I have to give the prescription back to them in order to get approval from chewy. I informed her that that doesn't make any sense as chewy needed the prescription in order for the order to be placed. She informed me she spoke with chewy and the approval was given. I then did a three-way call with the chewy representative and Denise and that was inaccurate. The chewy representative said multiple times they were waiting for approval from the vet clinic. I informed Denise that my dog's medication is imperative and it has to stay in his system at all times delay caused by the vet clinic. My dog got a UTI and was peeing blood. Denise had absolutely no care or compassion when I informed her of this. For a pharmacy vet tech to not understand the importance of medication being taken on time is not only unprofessional but dangerous.
When I asked to speak with a different pharmacy vet tech, she ignored my request and kept talking over me. She clearly cannot understand the concept of simple customer service. She desperately needs to be retrained. Actually, the customer service was so bad training is not enough. She needs a lobotomy.
My experience with Denise pushed me to look for a new vet clinic that actually has compassion. My dog has severe allergies and without this medicine in his system, the infection will spread and cause UTIs
