We moved to Alberta in November and usually you hope to have a good experience getting everything out to your new home when you hire someone and you pay $14,000 to do it. This is the worst experience we’ve ever had with a mover (and we have moved a few times), and the people you deal with for claims were not helpful at all. They damaged our Sofa and brought in people to try to repair it and then told us nothing more could be done. They damaged a bunch of other things and because we didn’t claim it all in a bunch we lost the ability to claim anything and get any money back for the garbage job that they did. We found out that they dropped stuff in a warehouse and then repacked another truck and this is potentially where our sofa and other things were damaged. Please don’t waste your money. It is ridiculously expensive and in the end they loved to wash their hands clean of the mess they made.
