State Line Auto Service

My Uncle (73) and Aunt (70) took their vehicle to State Line Auto Service and dropped it off on January 22nd, 2024. They just received the vehicle back on 8/21/2024. They took it there for the air conditioning and heater to be fixed, there was a smell of exhaust in the car while driving, the driver window was not working, and their were oil leaks. When they finally picked the car up, after being told it would be $5000 which included a new driver door, the total was $8493.97. The door was not replaced at all and he told them he never said he would. The price was taken down to $6881. The front bumper is falling off, along with a parking light out and the headlight about to fall out. It had damage done while there, they confronted the man about it and he said that they did that not him. Not to mention the car still has oil leaks (multiple), the air is not working, the windows won't roll down, the convertible top won't go down, the trunk can not be opened and the gas door can't be opened. This company is taking advantage of the elderly. They were patient and understanding even though it has been seven months. My aunt and uncle are good people, ask anyone in our community. This man refuses to give them their money back. When my aunt and uncle ask me to look into this I found out he had an F with BBB and their are multiple reviews online of the same behavior. It is horrible that someone is allowed to stay in business and never have to pay back what he took from people especially the elderly. Please let me know if you all are able to help in any way.
