Started off well. However, some important information was not relayed to us during the process. While we were told it would be very difficult, we were not told it was a privilege and not a right. If this would have been disclosed we'd have never proceeded with the case. Secondly, the lawyer was unable to get the names of the opposing party correct. When being payed 500 an hour, you'd think they would be correct on names. Finally a date was set down which we didn't know about until afterwards. While this may have seemed appropriate at the time by counsel, it was never discussed with us and we were held to it. As a last complaint, to be billed for being billed, that was dirty.
