Super Suds Car Wash at 1270 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa is a scam.
It is an unmanned system save for the operating credit card machine. It will accept $7.00 payments to initialize the system; but doesn’t allow you to wash your vehicle. No water; no soap. The credit card charges are processed against your card and there is no owner available to complain to.
The first phone number on the office door is out of service. The individual that answered the second number for the detailing business operating on the premises says they are not responsible for the car wash.
Turns out the complex is owned by an absentee land lord who only shows up occasionally to empty the coin box. They are also getting money credited to their bank accounts from the card transactions.
DRPS were advised but say it’s a civil matter. This has been going on for over 5 years according to Google Reviews. Check it out.

Hi Irene. The exact same thing happened to me. I called the phone and no one answered. The detailing building attached to the last wash bay claims they know nothing about who owns and contact information for the owner. Not even a name. Have you received your money back? I'm going to try an get the police involved again.
