Can’t give a zero or a -10 , so they get a 1. Charged $499 for a a Universal 6 way replacement spindle in our front door that sells for $15 at Home Depot. He had installed it before gouging me $644 including a trip charge $69, Office Fee $29. Will complain to Attorney General’s office for gouging the elderly. By the way, I noticed afterward that the locksmith had Florida plates on his new truck. Wondering if he is even licensed in TX
Zero stars! They scammed my son saying it would only be a 29.00 trip fee for an estimate because could not quote cost over phone! He was quoted $250 and then eventually dropped & offered $100 cuz son could not pay, son declined to have his car door unlocked. The guy decided to add on a cancellation fee!! $58.68 when it should have been 29.00 per Dave that advised my son over phone! That’s what the trip fee was for! The guy refused to leave until he paid total charge!! I called the office and talked to the same guy Dave to get a quote and he gave one to me over the phone. I questioned why he didn’t give quote to my son over the phone. Of course did not have answer! I think if they sense you are clueless first timer as most will probably be… they will not quote you over the phone just to be quoted and scammed in person! If you search up BBB website ( F rating, not accredited)and other sites, with lots of complaints and examples of how they are scamming! Please read!
