I had an extremely negative experience with Vaughan's that wasted my time, cost me hundreds of dollars for no reason, damaged my vehicle, and put lives in danger. In short, do not trust them!
My complaint (which a third-party mechanic and their own mechanic admitted was inadequate work on their part (https://studio.youtube.com/video/JbmLETcxN3Y/edit for proof because they lied in their response to my review on Google Maps) - was met with an offer to redo the work for free. I first noticed they didn't properly replace my brake shoes when another mechanic said my vehicle would no longer pass a safety because of the brake shoes (despite passing a safety 1 month earlier). So somehow, my brake shoes had gone from fine, to insufficient after getting Vaughan's to "fix" them. So they replaced them a SECOND time (even though it seems like they never needed to be replaced at all) and then months later I discovered that the second time they installed the brake shoes they were put on backwards!!! Fixing this cost me a few hundred more dollars, and I learned that for months my vehicle had been damaged by this mistake and could have led to brake failure (i.e., easily injury or death). When I alerted Vaughan's to this second failure on their part their response was to ignore me. I submitted a complaint through Better Business Bureau, and their response to that complaint was full of lies. Overall, Vaughan’s behaviour in this case, and their responses to it have been beyond shameful. They have shown themselves to be dishonest, incompetent, petty, and greedy. They continually refuse to tell the truth, accept responsibility for their multiple failures, or correct their wrongdoings. Avoid at all costs!
