Vollmin trees delivered damaged and diseased trees and planted them too deep into the ground. The damage was reported to them by my landscaper. We received no response. My pine tree lost its needles the first Fall. I was told it was normal. The following Spring it had a bug. Vollmin didn't know what it was, but gave me the name of a company to have it sprayed. I called and left a message. I never heard back from them. I hired an arborist who confirmed the pine tree had pine scale, and recommended having it sprayed, which I did. It is Spring now and my pine tree is all brown. The damage on my Japanese lilac tree has spread, but seems to be healing. Only time will tell. Of the 5 trees planned, 3 are struggling from being planted too deep. Here again only time will tell. The arborist confirmed all the problems with my trees caused by damage, disease and poor planting.
How sad and disappointing this experience has been. Please let this be a word to the wise about this company.
