BEWARE: They are the worst I have ever worked with. I am into week 18 for a 4-6 week project. The work that is done is horrible. They tell you what you want to hear yet do not follow through. They lie. The largest problem is they take your money up front so you can't fire them. Everything has been my fault. Impossible. I paid, they don't follow through. Don't show up. Leave everything a mess. Break my personal property and do not replace but the lies. They never tell the truth. This project will never be complete. Do not use them. Better yet, come look at my house and you'll be shocked at the horrible quality of work as well as the mess that is everywhere.

It’s too bad there aren’t negative stars to give out because one star is way too many for this horrific company! These people are the definition of corrupt, incompetent, unqualified, and unskilled. Not only do they lack the skill to do the projects they propose, they lack integrity, both as individuals and as a company. They are habitual liars and will say and do whatever it takes to lure in new customers, while at the same time, not giving a damn about the ones they already have.
It all starts with the head of the snake, Haley Tew. She is too busy posing for social media and trying to explain away her company’s failings to the ROC, to actually care about your project or get it finished without numerous problems. Her only skill is tricking customers into believing they will have their dream project, when in fact working with Lavender will be their worst nightmare.
When she isn’t pretending that she cares about projects, she’s busy finding ways to weasel out of doing what she has been contracted to do. Her sidekick husband, Tyler (John) Tew, (formerly of Idaho Falls) is her partner in crime - literally. Make sure you google them individually not just their company, you don’t want to miss reading all about his criminal conviction. Tyler is nothing more than a bully who is sent to harass and strong-arm clients for money, usually long before it’s actually due.
They go through dozens of employees due to their toxic work environment, but the ones that stay are not just aware of their sinister business practice, they are complicit.
Their social media posts are repeats of the same old projects over and over again, because nearly all of their projects have problem after problem (that they can't or won't fix), and they wouldn’t dare try and post them. They love their ‘progress’ pictures and videos, but good luck seeing the final project. The wheels usually fall off projects somewhere around the time they can’t pay their crews and need to do work like electrical, tile and plumbing, you know, the important stuff.
But if all of that doesn’t lead to their house of cards imploding, then it will be because they owe hundreds of thousands of dollars to subs, employees, vendors and clients. Your 30% deposit is guaranteed to be misappropriated to their own personal projects, like a new office or subsidizing another client's project.

There are numerous other open complaints that haven't hit the website yet. But make sure you pack a lunch, there’s a lot of items to go through.
There are plenty of qualified landscape companies out there. Lavender is NOT that company. Save yourself years of grief and wasted money and pick anyone but them!

The 4098-character limit is not nearly enough to express how miserable our ongoing nightmare with Lavender has been! And after 16 long painful months dealing with these con-artists and blundering, unprofessional crooks we are no closer to being finished or having the project we paid them for. We were catfished by their social media posts. They are very good at selling a story, but it’s nothing more than bait to lure in more victims to their house of horrors.
Imagine hiring these people in January of 2023 to build a fountain and SIXTEEN months later they still haven’t finished it. Imagine the DAILY nightmare of staring at your property torn apart, having to have them tear down and rebuild EVERY aspect of the job multiple times because it was done wrong and listening to their endless bogus excuses as to why they won't build what they have been contracted and paid in full for. We have had to hire an attorney and are now having to sue them in civil court for fraudulently over billing us by over $60,000 and numerous other things! While they have a slew of incompetent workers who are doing the job wrong, this company is run by the most morally deficient, unprofessional person I have ever had the displeasure to meet. The owner likes to flaunt herself on IG and her website as this caring, skilled business owner when nothing could be further from the truth. She is completely devoid of any skill, accountability or integrity. She takes money from clients knowing she cannot fulfill the contract and then acts as if she is doing you a favor by even communicating with you. Her husband and partner in all crime is a bully that she sends to threaten and harass customers for money. Had I googled him prior to hiring them and seen his criminal convictions, I would have ran far away from them and saved myself this year and a half long nightmare.
They are so desperate to trick new customers they spend a lot of time fabricating fake reviews. A clear insight to their lack of character and integrity. If they will lie to get you as a client, they will most certainly lie to you once they've taken your money. If they spent as much time actually doing their job right instead of playing online games and falsifying reviews to trick more victims, they might not need to actually fake them. But in typical narcissistic fashion, they only care about themselves. If you believe the fake reviews from their friends and family - you know the 5 stars with no actual project attached - and choose to use them, buckle up, you’re in for a nightmare of a ride.
Not only was the work on our job done by unlicensed subs instead of licensed electricians or plumbers we are now faced with a litany of dysfunctional lighting, outlets that don’t work, leaks in the fountain pipes and gas leaks and tile that has had to be torn out due to poor installation for the FIFTH time.
We are in our second ROC complaint process with them and they have refused to fix the items the ROC has demanded be fixed. They are clearly just biding their time until they shutter their doors (on their brand new office that they built by misappropriating customers money) and will leave several customers high and dry.
One star is still too many for this company. Run, don’t walk away from these people. You will thank me later.

We signed a contract October '23, added in front yard and signed the final contract December '23. Work finally started in January and we are still not finished as of June 2024. We have had to manage our own project with their workers knocking on our door asking us questions. We have become part time accountants because no one knows what is going on. We literally had to send the 4th accounting employee all of our contracts and change orders along with a spreadsheet that we have been keeping to show what we have paid and what the balance is. Since Jan 9th, we have had over 60+ days of no one showing up to do work. We purchased a firepit on their recommendation and it was to be delivered on 3/15 and we were told that we were two weeks away from having it installed and just have it put in our driveway. It is now June 19th and our firepit is still not installed. We have had the irrigation crew out over 28 times to fix issues and complete work because there is no project oversight. We are told things will be done and the only time they make any progress is when they want a check. We have reached out to Haley multiple times and she is completely disengaged and is only focused on her social media posts and getting more clients. They can't even handle the the clients the currently have. They immediately remove negative reviews from Instagram, and have employees and friends post positive comments to up their ratings. It is really a shame, because there is a lot of potential to have a thriving business, but this is a very poorly run operation and I would recommend that you look elsewhere. Don't believe the 5 star reviews as they are fake. Our lives have been completely disrupted for over 6 months and they just don't seem to have any regard for how they treat clients who are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars with them. They have multiple ROC claims against them, and when we started this project that was not the case. They are overloaded and we specifically asked if they had the time to take on our project which was completely false.
