There are several ways to add contacts to your dashboard. You can add contacts manually, upload them in bulk, use Request Links to collect contacts without logging in, or automate the process with Zapier. This guide explains each option.
In this article
1. Add a single contact
If you only need to add one contact at a time, you can do this directly from the Contacts page.
Steps:
- Go to Contacts in your dashboard.
- Click Add Contact.
- Enter the contact’s information.
- Choose whether to send a review request immediately or add the contact without sending anything.
- Click Save.
You can also open the same Add Contact form from the Request review button at the top of the dashboard.
2. Bulk upload contacts (CSV or Excel)
If you need to add many contacts at once, use the bulk import tool.
Supported file types:
- CSV
- XLS
- XLSX
Recommended limits:
- Up to 10 MB
- Up to 10,000 rows
- UTF-8 encoding
Steps:
- Go to Contacts.
- Click Bulk Upload.
- Choose your file or drag and drop it.
- Match your columns to the supported fields.
- Confirm and start the import.
You will see progress states for each import and a history of all past uploads. If there are errors, you can download a file that lists the rows that need fixing.
3. Add contacts with Request Links
Request Links let your team send review requests without logging in to the dashboard. Anyone on your team can open the link, add a contact, and trigger a request.
This is helpful for front-desk teams, field staff, and offices that want a simple way to send requests during the day.
Steps:
- Go to Campaign > Request Links in your dashboard.
- Copy an existing link or create a new one, then share it with your team.
- They open the link, enter the contact details, and send the request.
4. Add contacts automatically with Zapier
Zapier lets you connect ReviewsOnMyWebsite to over 6,000 other apps. You can automatically add contacts from tools like CRM systems, scheduling apps, form builders, and more.
Common examples:
- Add a contact after a job is marked complete.
- Add a contact when a form is submitted.
- Add a contact from your CRM or booking software.
